She founded the Adaptive Parent Project, growing it from a YouTube channel teaching adaptive parenting from a wheelchair into an international nonprofit empowering parents with disabilities. Drawing on her own four-year breastfeeding journey and lived experience, Alesha helps professionals, students, and organizations provide more inclusive, informed care. Her work has earned an Aerie Real Changemaker award and been featured in Forbes and at international breastfeeding conferences.
